End of Another School Year

In another few days, I'm officially off. Then it's off to finding a summer job which I know won't be easy at all. All of you are probably relaxed because school's over. BUT.. (there goes the dreaded "but"), there's always the dreaded phobia of having nothing to do over the summer. You're so used to having school to pass day time but now that there's no school, you're going to go out with your friends. Sooner or later, you're going to realize that going out with your friends is going to get boring because even fun.. gets old.

Do something for your summer instead of going out to play and get tanned! Getting tanned is no good thing either but not like you teenagers would listen to someone like me.

I'm pretty sure that most of you are probably bored out of your mind before school is even out!

Think about it. Every day of summer is probably what you do every weekend or every other day that you don't have school.

For people that work, I'm sad to say that you don't officially have summers off. You do have vacation days, right?

So for now, I want to congratulate the graduates of '09 and wish everyone to have a happy summer.

P.S. I did not have the swine flu and I'm officially healthy for now :D

Wikipedia

Today, I was saying how Wikipedia lies because of how the information is always changing. People edit it in so many ways and yet, some others support the idea that Wiki staff checks the site daily and goes through every article that wants to be published on wiki. However, if that is so, why do schools do not allow their staff to recommend it to students? You see, there was a case long ago about inaccurate information on wikipedia:

"No, we don't," he said. Representatives of the other two websites said their computers are programmed to copy data verbatim from Wikipedia, never checking whether it is false or factual.

Naturally, I want to unmask my "biographer." And, I am interested in letting many people know that Wikipedia is a flawed and irresponsible research tool.

But searching cyberspace for the identity of people who post spurious information can be frustrating. I found on Wikipedia the registered IP (Internet Protocol) number of my "biographer"- 65-81-97-208. I traced it to a customer of BellSouth Internet. That company advertises a phone number to report "Abuse Issues." An electronic voice said all complaints must be e-mailed. My two e-mails were answered by identical form letters, advising me that the company would conduct an investigation but might not tell me the results. It was signed "Abuse Team."

Wales, Wikipedia's founder, told me that BellSouth would not be helpful. "We have trouble with people posting abusive things over and over and over," he said. "We block their IP numbers, and they sneak in another way. So we contact the service providers, and they are not very responsive."

After three weeks, hearing nothing further about the Abuse Team investigation, I phoned BellSouth's Atlanta corporate headquarters, which led to conversations between my lawyer and BellSouth's counsel. My only remote chance of getting the name, I learned, was to file a "John or Jane Doe" lawsuit against my "biographer." Major communications Internet companies are bound by federal privacy laws that protect the identity of their customers, even those who defame online. Only if a lawsuit resulted in a court subpoena would BellSouth give up the name.

Do you see the ways wikipedia can just put up false information?
Yet, students still go there to find their facts or "net surfers" go there daily for updated news. This online encyclopedia is not as "factual" as they say they are. They attract users and have them donate so that they can "edit".

See here, I went on Wikipedia and the heading was this:

The 2 keywords were bolded. Free?

Wikipedia is sustained by people like you. Please donate today.

That was above the heading.

Sure it's free but... how many really donate? Why would they donate? If people do not donate, how did Jimmy Wales keep wikipedia, such a large encyclopedia, up?

Anyone can edit? Sure they can and that's why it led to false information!

Please, wikipedia is full of lies.

Please do not think that this post is to discourage others to visit wikipedia because this is a personal blog and I am voicing my own opinions hence the first amendment in the Bill of Rights. Thank you for your time to read this.

Center of Attention

Sometimes, you think that others would think you're cool for doing this and that. In other words, you're a fool. Your friends are not your friends. They smile at you because it's polite to do so. They will turn the other way when YOU turn your back. This is the time when you have to start realizing these things. Stop pretending and look forward. Look into a mirror if you like, like it works. Let's pretend that you don't hear me saying that mirrors don't work like that. Pretend that you also didn't hear how I say that mirrors show only what you want to see. Just keep believing in what you feel like believing.
Not like I care you know? But seriously, get a life and stop staring at the mirror. They show what you want to know. But, they do not grant wishes. If you were so attentive to your surroundings, you would finally realize no one really likes you. One day, you will wake up all by yourself. You will not realize what mistakes you made unless someone tells you personally. That day won't ever come because you are one of the people that do not deserve to be in this world. Everyone deserves to be in this world and change. You will be the one that will never change and therefore, go die and benefit the society with your death. Think about it. Think about what kind of person are you? Dramatic? Preppy? Nice? Kind? Thoughtful? Do not put labels on yourself, describing who you are.
Try changing your person if you can so that others can feel comfortable around you. Everyone was born to be someone unique. But you can't be too unique or too "high-class" for others. Everyone was made equal. Think about how others feel when they're around you. Do they feel the same as you do or do they feel the way you think they feel? Now here's some life based experience from me:

There's this girl I know. She acts like she's important and she's so "nice". She has "friends" that talk with her and all. But, she's always the "center of attention" person. She's been in my school for 3 years. She didn't changed at ALL. She thinks that everyone loves her. She thinks that she's teachers' pet. She doesn't care how people think about her, I THINK. She's this person that will tell you what to do and you have to do it. Of course, there's always those objections BUT if it something that involves a group, she can really make you do everything. She doesn't notice how others don't like her. She goes on with her life, trying to be center of attention. However, she would never reach that goal. She could keep pursuing it but it would never work out. Why? She never got approved as "nice" by her "friends". She got dejected. Rejected. And she never knew that.

Now, you may have a lot of these, "You are so mean" or something similar to comment this blog post. Hey, just trying to give a heads up. Please do not criticize one's opinion. If you knew someone that was trying to be a bitch all these years and doesn't notice it for herself, then you would probably feel the same but at a lower level or higher level.
