Naggers

I saw how I kinda merged the two topics together and felt that it didn't quite mix. So now, I introduce to you a whole new post on naggers and only on naggers. This definition was from www.dictionary.com :

Nag:

–verb (used with object)
1. to annoy by persistent faultfinding, complaints, or demands.
2. to keep in a state of troubled awareness or anxiety, as a recurrent pain or problem: She had certain misgivings that nagged her.
–verb (used without object)
3. to find fault or complain in an irritating, wearisome, or relentless manner (often fol. by at): If they start nagging at each other, I'm going home.
4. to cause pain, discomfort, distress, depression, etc. (often fol. by at): This headache has been nagging at me all day.
–noun
5. Also, nagger. a person who nags, esp. habitually.
6. an act or instance of nagging.

1. pester, harass, hector, irritate, vex.

Notice how it says harass as a synonym. My mom nags at me about how I eat. Well.. stop telling me how I eat. Each and every person has their own unique way of doing things. To nag means that you're just looking for a fight. Not everyone has patience to listen to you complain about what they're doing what you are considering as "wrong". In other words, you're annoying. You annoy other people for the fun of it. Considering all that, you have no better life than to "nag".

How about you try to talk? Instead of nagging, just talk. Talk straight out and don't take the long cuts. Unless you're joking by nagging... please notice the difference? If you're the kind of person that doesn't know the kind of humor your friend has.. well... know it and tell your friend about it. Then there would be no misunderstanding. Nagging causes problems, a lot of problems.

My mom nagged about me and how I eat my breakfast. How I eat fast usually and how I always go to school later. Then, (I forgot to add this part in) I said about how I woke up late and stuff. She says, "That's because you sleep late. Who told you to sleep late..?" and blah blah blah. Then of course, I talked back and made it a lot harder for the two of us to communicate so I left the house angrily and went to school. Ah... the loveliness of home.

Please try to consider others' feelings when you start complaining or pointing out the wrongs in one's doings. Think, "Will he/she take it as a joke or seriously? Will he/she talk back? Will he/she be angry? Will he/she change?" Answer these kinds of questions before you nag. Of course you're thinking, By the time I finish thinking, I probably forgot what to nag about. Well, that is your problem. Maybe you shouldn't nag at all. Change your habit?

Nagging and... Snobs?

Did you ever think that mothers are a bit nosy? Or maybe a bit... naggy? They complain and complain about how your hair looks, what you're wearing, how you're walking, how you're eating, when you sleep, when you wake, if you fix your bed or not. Of course, this does not apply for all parents but it does for me. My mom was nagging me today about how I eat. She tells me I have plenty of time to eat before I go to school. So I was like, "Mom... you can't expect me to finish a bowl of hot steaming oatmeal in 10 minutes." She was like, "10 minutes?! Why, you leave at 7 something" and there goes my argument...
So I was expected to finish my breakfast in a matter of 10 minutes. Well... I finished it in 15 minutes. You see, I'm rather fat for my age (which is not going to be displayed because what if my friends are reading this? This is supposed to be a personal thing). But does it look like I care? Not really.. Humans only live once and I guess everyone has a different life every time they're reincarnated if you believe in that. My mom is being the kind of person that you don't want to have in your next lifetime.
Sometimes, it's better if you nag people less. Maybe some will learn to appreciate you being here. Or if you were nicer with words. Maybe it's your personality but at least try a few times to you know... be nice. Of course, there are those that do not know what is "nice". Please do not think of the preppy girls that talk in that atrocious accent and stuff. Be yourself. That's all that matters. I do not believe that ANYONE talks in that dramatic tone. People want to improve themselves to fit in with others. THAT IS NOT NECESSARY. Instead, others will detect that change and feel that you're too influential by the things around you. Your friends may not want you to change, so why? If too big a change is taking place, everyone will feel awkward and you may be left alone in the end.
How did we go from my mother to friendship? I do not know. But, just be who you are and try to be nice once in a while. Nice as in kind and helpful. Please do not misinterpret the meaning of "nice".
